WANTED - Hello - does anyone have a crib made out of real wood that they've brought over from the U.S. or elsewhere, preferably at least 40 x 140 or 150 cm? Or, normal U.S. crib size?
Despite DH's assurances that labor and materials are less expensive here, I can't find anything that isn't MDF. I'm wanting something with either a stationary (non-moving, no dropside) front or a dropside that's easy to use. Natural colored wood or white would be great. Price negotiable depending on style and condition. Why is it that I could get a solid wood crib - 100% solid wood - for $140 delivered to my door in the U.S. and here, anything other than IKEA (which are small and rather flimsy and double the cost of IKEA products in the U.S.) is over 1500TL??? Something plain and simple - no carvings, no flowers, etc. Like this -

Sorry for the rant - it's just annoying when things like cribs and breast pumps are double and triple what they cost in other parts of the world. Don't get me started on cars.
